Why Collectors Still Love Real Mail
On algorithms, envelopes, and the particular pleasure of a thing that arrives.

Every collector we talked to said a version of the same thing: the internet made art infinite and forgettable, and the mailbox made it finite again.
There is no feed. There is no recommendation engine. There is one artist, one envelope, and a date.
Good art should not disappear into an algorithm. Sometimes it should arrive in an envelope.
That finitude is the product. A mail club is a small, deliberate refusal of infinite scroll — and, not incidentally, one of the few ways an independent artist gets paid directly.
