Pigeon Post Mail Club is a very small studio with a very consistent mailing schedule. One person, one press, one very opinionated bodega cat.

About Sam

Sam is an artist, printmaker and full-time neighborhood watcher based in Brooklyn. Before the mail club there were zines, band posters, laser-cut signs, and one enormous acrylic painting of a slice of pizza.

The inspiration

The characters that make a block feel like a block: the bodega cat, the pigeon on the awning, the softball team at the park, the couple who runs the laundromat. All of it is worth printing.

Screen printing by hand

Every card is designed, exposed, and pulled by hand in the studio. Small runs, tight registration, honest paper. If you look closely, you'll spot ink from the previous run.

Why mail matters

A phone push notification disappears. A tiny piece of art in your mailbox stays on the fridge for a year. That's the whole idea.

The neighborhood

Every design nods to somewhere specific — a bodega on Franklin, a bench in McCarren, a bar in Bed-Stuy. If you're not from here, you'll get to know it. If you are, you'll recognize it.

Low-waste packaging

Recyclable kraft mailers, plant-based ink, no plastic wrap. Small operation, small footprint.
