This Season's Theme
Season One — Neighborhood Birds
Season One is about the city's unofficial residents: the pigeons on the fire escape, the sparrows in the deli awning, the gulls that ride the Q train wind. Expect warm cream stock, rust-red ink, and one very self-important pigeon.
News From the Pigeon
Sketching the season
The first drawings for Season One were made on the bench outside a Bed-Stuy laundromat, mostly on receipt paper.
Pulling the edition
Each art piece is printed in a short run and hand-finished in the studio, then checked one by one before it goes in the envelope.
Packing day
Envelopes get a hand-cancelled stamp and a News From the Pigeon insert with notes from the season.
Build Your Collection
Every Pigeon Post release is limited to one season and never reprinted. Collect them over time and the seasons line up into one continuous run — numbered, dated, and designed to sit together on a shelf or a wall.
