Mail clubs run on enrollment windows because a person — usually one person — has to print, pack, and carry the whole run to the post office. Windows keep the run honest.
This month five clubs are taking members, and three of them cap out under two hundred seats. If you've been meaning to start collecting physical art, this is the easiest on-ramp there is.
A closed window isn't a rejection. It's just how small studios stay small on purpose.
Start with the pace that fits you. Monthly clubs are a rhythm; quarterly and seasonal clubs are an event. Neither is better, but the wrong one turns into a pile on the hall table.
And when a window closes, save the club. Most artists reopen within a season, and saved clubs get a note from us when they do.
